Job Summary We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Janitorial and Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment inside and outside of our facility. The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic, handles physical labor comfortably, and can perform routine building maintenance and minor repairs independently.

Key Responsibilities Janitorial & Cleaning Duties Floor Care:

Sweep, mop, & vacuum floors daily.

Sanitation:

Clean and disinfect restrooms, breakrooms, and high-touch areas (door handles, light switches, counters).

Waste Management:

Empty trash and recycling bins throughout the building and dispose of waste properly.

Window & Glass Care:

Wash indoor and outdoor windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.

Stocking:

Monitor and restock essential supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.

Maintenance & Facility Upkeep Minor Repairs:

Perform light maintenance tasks such as changing lightbulbs, replacing air filters, fixing leaky faucets, and unclogging toilets.

Groundskeeping:

Maintain outdoor property entrances by picking up litter and performing basic seasonal upkeep (e.g., clearing light snow or debris from walkways).

Inventory Control:

Organize the janitorial closet and track inventory to ensure cleaning supplies are ordered before they run out.

Safety & Security:

Follow all safety guidelines and chemical handling protocols. Ensure building doors and windows are locked securely at the end of the shift.

Reporting:

Identify and report any major facility damage or safety hazards to management.

Qualifications & Requirements Experience:

2+ years of experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or building maintenance is preferred but not required.

Physical Ability:

Able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand or walk for long periods, and perform physical tasks involving bending, reaching, and kneeling.

Technical Skills:

Familiarity with standard cleaning chemicals, tools, and basic hand tools for minor repairs.

Dependability:

Strong time-management skills, punctuality, and the ability to work productively with minimal supervision.

Pay:

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
