We are seeking a skilled and reliable Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our property management team. You will be responsible for ensuring that our residential community remains in top condition by performing general repairs, preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant units for new residents. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a strong technical background and a commitment to providing excellent service to our residents.

Primary Responsibilities:

Promptly address and complete daily resident service requests, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repairs. Prepare vacant apartments for new move-ins, including painting, drywall repair, flooring installation. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on building systems (gutters, lighting, filters, etc.) to prevent future issues. Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of common areas, including parking lots, walkways, and landscaping. Participate in a rotating emergency on-call schedule for after-hours maintenance emergencies. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety standards and local building codes.

Required Skills & Qualifications Experience:

3 years of experience in multi-family residential maintenance or a related field.

Technical Proficiency:

Strong knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and appliance repair. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions. Ability to interact professionally with residents, vendors, and management. Possession of basic hand tools and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
