Maintenance Technician II Job Description The Maintenance Technician II is an experienced technical professional responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving manufacturing equipment and facility systems in a highly regulated medical manufacturing environment. This role requires strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic expertise, along with advanced troubleshooting skills. You work independently, respond quickly to equipment downtime, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and other support functions to ensure equipment reliability, safety, and uninterrupted production. Responsibilities

+ Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues.

+ Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines, auxiliary equipment, automation and assembly equipment, and facility systems.

+ Support the operation and maintenance of injection molding machines and associated manufacturing equipment.

+ Troubleshoot electrical systems, including motors, sensors, heaters, thermocouples, relays, contactors, and other machine controls.

+ Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including pumps, valves, cylinders, regulators, fittings, and related components.

+ Respond to production equipment breakdowns with a strong sense of urgency and safely restore equipment to operation.

+ Perform root cause analysis on recurring equipment failures and recommend corrective actions to improve equipment reliability.

+ Complete scheduled preventive maintenance activities accurately and on time.

+ Support equipment installations, modifications, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.

+ Assist with troubleshooting and maintenance of robotic and automated manufacturing systems, including assembly robots.

+ Partner with Process Engineering, Automation Engineering, Tooling, and Operations to resolve equipment-related production issues.

+ Identify opportunities to reduce equipment downtime, enhance preventive maintenance effectiveness, and increase equipment reliability.

+ Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work orders, repairs, and parts usage within the site's maintenance system.

+ Follow all applicable safety requirements, including Lockout/Tagout ( LOTO ), Good Manufacturing Practices ( GMP ), and site procedures.
