Varies depending on the needs of the facility Many opportunities for overtime; longer hours periodically based on organizational needs

Purpose:

The Housekeeper maintains assigned areas according to established procedures.

Responsibilities:

High dust all main rooms and bathrooms Sanitize and spot clean furniture, beds, walls, windows, ledges, doors, doorknobs, phones, water cooler, microwave, rails, miscellaneous items, etc. Clean bathrooms including sinks, tubs, hoppers, toilets, shower walls, and walls around sinks Restock paper supplies as needed Empty and clean waste baskets Dust mop and wet mop floors Participates in quality improvement activities Stripping, waxing and buffing floors.

Qualifications:

Floor tech experience required Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time Ability to pass criminal background check and drug testing Experience working with various socioeconomic populations is a plus. Must be able to lift, push, pull or carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
