As part of our maintenance team, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and safety of our community in Lombard, Illinois. The technician will handle service requests, repairs, and preventative maintenance to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for residents.
Salary:
$22.00 to $25.00 Hourly with bonus opportunities!
Schedule:
Tuesday through Saturday 8am to 5pm plus overtime What You'll Do Keep our vibrant community running smoothly and looking its best Tackle daily repairs in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliances, and more Turn apartments quickly and beautifully for new residents Knock out work orders with speed, skill, and great customer service Maintain curb appeal and support seasonal grounds care Jump into action during rotational on-call hours to handle urgent needs Efficiently manage, log, and track maintenance requests using designated work order systems. Cultivate positive relationships with both vendors and residents to facilitate smooth operations and resident satisfaction. What We're Looking For High School Diploma or GED Apartment maintenance experience (strongly preferred). Independently complete service requests in occupied apartment homes. Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general maintenance. Enjoys troubleshooting and finding solutions. Takes pride in quality workmanship and the appearance of community Takes ownership of work and follows through on commitments A strong attention to detail, and notices potential problems Understands that great customer service is just as important as quality repair.
