Job Description

Maintenance Mechanic Job Summary We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production and facility equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role supports equipment reliability, safety, and operational efficiency through preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Responsibilities Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment. Diagnose issues with motors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and automated machinery. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation. Complete maintenance inspections, repairs, and documentation accurately. Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime. Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects. Perform welding, fabrication, and general mechanical repairs as needed. Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Qualifications Experience as a Maintenance Mechanic, Maintenance Technician, or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Experience working with motors, conveyors, pumps, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems. Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints. Welding and fabrication experience preferred. PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus. Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Commitment to safety and quality standards. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Loves Park, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $66500.00 - $72800.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. medical, dental, vision, 401k Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Loves Park,IL.
