Maintenance Technician Shift:

Open $28 - 37 Job Description This role focuses on performing both preventive and reactive maintenance on a wide range of production machinery in a manufacturing environment. You will handle mechanical and electrical repairs, support reliable operation of equipment, and help keep production running safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance on all production machinery to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. Carry out reactive maintenance and troubleshooting on mechanical and electrical issues as they arise. Service and repair sauce applicators, topping applicators, packaging machinery, presses, box erectors, compressors, pumps, motors, mixers, and ovens. Work safely on electrical systems up to 480V, following appropriate procedures and standards. Support PLC-controlled equipment as part of overall machinery maintenance and troubleshooting. Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics to diagnose issues and perform accurate repairs. Use MIG and TIG welding techniques when needed for repairs and fabrication. Collaborate with other maintenance personnel, machine operators, and production staff to coordinate maintenance activities. Ensure all work complies with relevant manufacturing standards and internal maintenance practices. Maintain and use personal tools effectively to complete daily maintenance tasks. Essential Skills At least 3 years of experience as a maintenance technician or mechanic in a production or manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical maintenance skills with hands-on experience working on production machinery. Electrical maintenance experience, including working safely with systems up to 480V. Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints accurately. Proficiency in both preventive and reactive maintenance practices. Ownership and regular use of personal tools required for maintenance work. Ability to work effectively on a busy production floor alongside maintenance staff and machine operators. Additional Skills & Qualifications MIG and TIG welding experience for equipment repair and light fabrication. Familiarity with PLC-controlled machinery and basic understanding of automated equipment.
