Job Description
Jennmar Services is currently seeking an experienced Underground Maintenance Technician to join our team. We are looking for a dependable, safety-minded individual with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience in an underground mining environment. Qualifications 3-5 years of underground maintenance experience required Current MSHA Electrical Card required Experience troubleshooting and repairing underground mining equipment Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge Ability to diagnose equipment issues and perform repairs efficiently Experience with preventative maintenance and equipment inspections Ability to work safely in an underground mining environment Must follow all company, mine-site, and MSHA safety policies and procedures Must be dependable and able to work effectively as part of a team Responsibilities Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on underground mining equipment Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues Complete preventative maintenance and scheduled equipment repairs Inspect equipment and identify potential safety or mechanical concerns Repair and replace electrical and mechanical components as needed Minimize equipment downtime through timely troubleshooting and repairs Maintain a clean and safe work area Complete required maintenance documentation Follow all MSHA regulations and site-specific safety procedures
