Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our evening team at iD Castings of Illinois . This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes by maintaining and repairing our advanced machinery and equipment. Your contributions will directly support our mission of delivering exceptional quality and performance to our customers. Shift schedule is 4 days per week, Monday-Thursday, from 1:00pm-11:30pm . Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 2 years of experience in electrical, PLC troubleshooting, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding and fabrication. Strong electrical background and knowledge. Knowledge of 480 volt, 3-phase electrical systems. Knowledge of Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) and PLC systems, with the capability to learn. Ability to use and measure with a multimeter. Ability to install conduit, machine, and building wiring. Ability to operate heavy equipment. Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft programs. Key Responsibilities Ensure the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, furnaces, and production machines. Diagnose and repair or replace malfunctioning apparatus and components, such as transformers, circuit breakers, fuses, motors, generators and fixtures. Install, troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems and controls. Perform facility maintenance, including plumbing and HVAC. Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure efficient operation of facilities. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. iD Castings of Illinois offers an excellent wage and benefits package including Health, Dental, Vision, Prescription Drug Plan, 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Life and Disability Benefits, Paid Holidays and Paid Vacation. Pay range is $27.41/hr to $32.25/hr plus $1.50 shift differential . Starting wage is dependent on experience and education. iD Castings of Illinois will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States. This is not a position for which sponsorship will be provided.
