All maintenance roles are paid positions that contribute directly to the guest experience and operational excellence. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems including HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and facilities equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues using schematics, electrical tools, and testing devices such as ohmmeters. Conduct welding, carpentry, painting (including residential painting), and general building interior maintenance to uphold the hotel's aesthetic standards. Maintain HVAC systems by diagnosing issues, replacing parts, and performing system repairs to guarantee guest comfort. Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks related to building operations when applicable. Repair electrical equipment and perform electrical work following safety standards and schematics. Carry out plumbing system maintenance including leak repairs, pipe replacements, and fixture servicing. Use hand tools effectively for various repair tasks while adhering to safety protocols. Lead or assist with maintenance projects involving facilities equipment maintenance and R&M (repair & operations) procedures. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs for compliance and operational tracking. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC system repair, plumbing, carpentry, welding, and electrical work. Proficiency with schematics, technical manuals, and troubleshooting electrical equipment using tools like ohmmeters. Experience with facilities maintenance including building interior upkeep and preventive care routines. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks within building systems is a plus. Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively across various repair tasks. Excellent customer service skills to communicate clearly with team members and guests when necessary. Leadership qualities with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Fluency in English for effective communication across all levels of the organization.
