Maintenance Technician Job Description The Maintenance Technician supports operations in a high-tech, automated warehouse environment by maintaining and troubleshooting robotic forklifts, palletizing arms, conveyor systems, and racking infrastructure. This role combines mechanical and electrical work with real-time problem solving in a fast-paced, technology-driven setting. Responsibilities + Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on robotic forklifts, palletizing arms, conveyor systems, and racking systems to ensure optimal uptime. + Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and PLC -related issues across automated systems to quickly identify root causes and restore functionality. + Monitor automated system performance, respond promptly to system alerts or faults, and take corrective action in real time. + Collaborate with remote support and engineering teams to resolve complex technical issues and implement long-term solutions. + Maintain accurate and detailed logs of maintenance activities, repairs, system adjustments, and updates. + Support the installation, commissioning, and upgrade of automation equipment and systems as needed. + Follow and enforce safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and operational standards to maintain a safe working environment. + Inspect racking infrastructure and automated equipment regularly to identify wear, damage, or potential failures. + Assist in optimizing maintenance schedules and procedures to improve system reliability and performance. + Communicate equipment status, issues, and progress clearly to supervisors, teammates, and support staff. Essential Skills + At least 1 year of manufacturing experience in a mechanic, auto mechanic, or entry-level maintenance role. + Strong mechanical skills with hands-on experience in maintenance, repair, and machine operation. + Ability to perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on automated and mechanical systems. + Basic understanding of electrical and PLC -related troubleshooting in an industrial or automated environment. + Proficiency using touchscreens, computers, and mobile phones to operate, monitor, and document system activities. + Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and communicate clear ideas for resolving them. + Consistent work history and strong attendance, demonstrating reliability and commitment. + Comfort working with automation, robotics, and production equipment in a f To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
