Friday Summary Description:
The maintenance technician is responsible for maintenance and housekeeping of the facility. This individual will assist with all matters related to fire prevention, safety and up keeping of the facility.
Essential Position Functions:
Ensure the maintenance of lawns, landscaping including grass and snow as assigned Assist with preventative maintenance on a scheduled basis in accordance with written procedures and/or manufacturers' recommendations Maintain work order records, material cost and materials Mechanically repair, release, and or install minor equipment, hardware, and controls Assists in promoting facility safety and a safe working environment Oversea housekeeping/EVS department Ordering of all necessary EVS material Creating and managing schedules for EVS employees Performs other duties assigned by Maintenance Director and or Administrator Qualifications High School Diploma 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a long term care enviornment 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a long term care environment Must be able to pass background and drug screening IND123
