Job DescriptionIndependently perform Senior level support within the maintenance department. Trains lower-level Technicians on more advanced tasks. Drives technical, safety, and process improvement efforts using a variety of industry methods.
ResponsibilitiesAdhere to Abbvie's code of conductMaintains the function of department assets to ensure reliable equipment and quality standards are met.
Works closely with Department Reliability Engineering regarding; Maintenance Program development, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis.
May facilitate various workshops.
Considered an SME (subject matter expert) in advanced skilled trade disciplinesContributes to developing and delivering technical training modules, OJT's, etc.
Assist cross functional teams outside of the maintenance organizationSupports continuous improvement projects and safety initiatives within the maintenance organization and/or the siteUnderstands and follows all safety and GMP regulationsAssist cross functional teams outside of the maintenance organization#LI-AL1Qualifications HS diploma with 10+ yrs. experience or College degree, college certificate, or formal apprenticeship and 5+ years of work experience related to skilled trades or other relevant technical degreeCMRT (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician) or equivalent accreditation desired.
Intermediate skills with MS Windows.
Knowledge and ability to use advanced tools (i.e., machine tools, diagnostic tools, predictive tools)Electrical skills and knowledge is requireKnowledgeable in electrical systems up to 3 phase 480VCan troubleshoot electrical issues down to component level and replace failed componentsCan read and interpret electrical schematics and drawingsAdditional InformationApplicable only to applicants applying to a position in any location with pay disclosure requirements under state or local law: The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
