A Building and General Maintenance Technician performs building maintenance and appliance repairs for an apartment complex, housing division, residential center or business, as directed by a property manager.

CF Industries has many exciting and challenging opportunities at its world class production facility in Yazoo City Mississippi. The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing and replacing physical equipment in a manufacturing facility safely and efficiently.
Job Description:
Installs, alters and repairs electrical systems including installing conduit, pulling wire through conduits, making proper connections, determining and correcting electrical malfunctions in equipment and electrical control devices. Reads electrical blueprints and schematics. Makes low voltage circuit repairs. Determines causes for malfunctions and takes action to correct. Maintains A/C controls and performs troubleshooting. Performs pole line work. Programs variable frequency drive units. Performs switchgear maintenance. Works in a safe manner that promotes the health and well-being of the individual and the environment.
SUCCESSFUL INCUMBENTS
WILL HAVE:
High School Diploma required. AA Degree, certifications or licenses desirable. Minimum of 2 years experience in chemical/manufacturing/construction or related work. Advanced knowledge of electrical systems with experience in 480 volt to 4160 volt electrical systems. Advanced knowledge of
NFPA 70E
requirements. Ability to read and understand P&ID's. Analytical thinking and problem solving skills, effective organizational, time management and communication skills. Must be willing to work overtime and weekends.
POSITION SCOPE/CONTRIBUTION
Technicians install, troubleshoot, service and perform preventative maintenance on electrical and electronic equipment. The technician meets this responsibility by understanding and adhering to standard electrical procedures and techniques. Technicians must be willing to work overtime, call out and weekends.
