Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Garage Door Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of garage doors and related hardware. Duties Install new garage doors, including framing, door hanging, and securing hardware using hand tools and power tools Perform glass installation for windows or panels as part of custom door setups Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and building codes to ensure precise installations Conduct mechanical repairs on existing garage doors and related components such as springs, cables, rollers, and openers Utilize welding techniques when necessary for custom or reinforced installations Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building code standards during each project Assist with electrical work related to garage door openers and automation systems Use carpentry skills for framing, caulking, fixture installation, and cabinet installation as needed on site Handle heavy lifting safely to transport and position large doors or hardware components Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly Skills Extensive experience with garage door installation, repair, and maintenance processes Proficiency in glass installation and fixture setup within garage doors or adjacent structures Strong mechanical knowledge including working with springs, cables, rollers, motors, and electrical components Skilled in using hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches) and power tools (drills, saws) efficiently and safely Construction site experience with the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately Knowledge of building code compliance related to residential or commercial garage doors Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper posture and technique Experience in welding for custom modifications or reinforcement purposes Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients before, during, and after installations Handyman experience covering a broad range of repair tasks such as caulking, carpentry, framing, and fixture installation Join our team if you're ready to bring your expertise in garage door installation to life!
