Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and versatile Maintenance Staff member to ensure the optimal operation and upkeep of our facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining building systems, performing repairs, and supporting the overall safety and functionality of our environment. Your expertise will help create a safe, efficient, and welcoming space for all occupants and visitors. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a dynamic setting while contributing to the smooth running of our operations. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and mechanical systems to ensure continuous operation. Conduct repairs on electrical equipment, plumbing systems, HVAC units, and building interior fixtures using hand tools and schematics. Maintain facilities equipment including elevators, lighting, fire alarm systems, and security systems. Execute maintenance painting, carpentry, and building interior upkeep to uphold facility standards. Troubleshoot issues using electrical work knowledge, schematics interpretation, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools. Support maintenance painting projects and perform plumbing system repairs as needed. Assist with maintenance of facilities equipment in residential or commercial environments while providing excellent customer service to internal teams or tenants. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO). Proficiency with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical equipment repair. Skilled in welding, carpentry, plumbing system maintenance and repair, HVAC system repair, and building interior maintenance. Ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively. Familiarity with facilities maintenance procedures including HVAC systems, electrical work, plumbing systems, and maintenance painting. Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate with team members or clients effectively. Demonstrated leadership qualities with experience guiding or mentoring junior staff members when necessary. Pay:
$17.00 - $26.00 per hour
