Job DescriptionThis position supports operation by providing leadership to the packaging areas. Qualified candidates must be able to perform a variety of jobs, tasks, or duties as required; and must be able to work any shift, overtime, and weekends as requiredThe tasks required, but not limited to, are general housekeeping, clean up, sweeping, vacuuming, painting, lubrication (oiling, greasing, etc.), power washing, lifting and hauling items up and down stairs, dump rework, and operate a motorized fork lift and a variety of other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Primary ObjectivesCompleting PM's on a daily and monthly time frameWorking with line operators/supervisors to keep lines runningCompleting work orders in a timely matterAbility to get along well with other peoplePrimary DutiesKeeping lines running for better efficiencyWork on work orders that are assignedCleaning the maintenance shop and parts cage areaWorking Safely and following all SOP's on lock out of equipmentWork on PM's on the areas that are assignedAble to assist others on job taskIdentify needed mechanical improvementsMake necessary mechanical repairs when possibleIdentify and work to eliminate unsafe conditions and or practicesCompletion and accuracy of down time sheets/GMP logCompletion of daily PM'sAbility to be on call on weekendsRequirementsBe active and participate in efficiency and safety improvement teams; learn and follow written rules and procedures; produce accurate documentation; maintain acceptable attendance; must be willing and able to learn various positions; and must fill in when needed in temporary/permanent vacancies. In addition the qualified candidates must have High School Diploma or equivalent; basic computer knowledge (data entry); general math comprehension; and previous relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, bend, kneel, stand for extended periods, work in confined spaces, and work at heights.
