Job Description

Description:
Craig Industries, Inc., a growing manufacturer in the building materials industry, is looking to hire a Senior Industrial Maintenance Technician. The Senior Industries Maintenance Technician reports to the Maintenance Manager/Plant Engineer. The candidate for this position must perform minor and major repairs, preventive maintenance measures, and electrical wiring of buildings/manufacturing equipment. The primary responsibility is inspecting, repairing and maintaining the machinery, buildings, grounds and equipment within Craig Industries. Experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician and experience with Industrial Electrical Maintenance required.
Duties include:
Keeping tools clean and organized; Performing building upkeep and repairs; Conducting routine preventative maintenance on equipment; Troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns including pneumatic and hydraulic equipment; Sourcing replacement parts and submitting quotes; Running conduit and wiring; Welding Ability to run a manual Mill and or Lathe (Preferred) This position is required to follow specified safety procedures and abide by company attendance policies.
Required Hours:
40 Hours, 1st Shift, In Person Compensation package includes an hourly base pay with health, dental, vision, 401K and more. Requirements:
Physical Requirements:
The Maintenance Technician must have the ability to lift 50 lbs., stand for long periods of time, bend, reach, push/pull a wheeled cart up to 250 lbs.. They must also have good fine motor skills and be able to work with heights up to 20 feet.
Qualifications and Skills:
Electrical background required; Experience with 208 and 480 volt 3 phase a must; PLC background a bonus; Ability to effectively communicate with production workers/supervisors; Basic understanding of how to use a computer/mouse/tablet; The ability to follow directions and work with a team; Welding experience preferred.

High school or equivalent 2-year Technical schooling (Preferred)
