You respond quickly to maintenance issues and understand that residents come first . You work well with property managers and vendors to keep everyone on the same page. You do quality work, keep things clean, and leave repairs done properly. You take pride in maintaining buildings that reflect Forte Properties' standards. Responsibilities Perform daily apartment maintenance and repairs. Troubleshoot and repair plumbing (toilets, sinks, drains, faucets, valves). Handle electrical repairs including outlets, switches, lights, breakers, and GFCIs. Complete carpentry and general repairs : drywall, doors, cabinets, trim, hardware, and flooring fixes. Perform basic HVAC maintenance such as filter changes and thermostat replacements. Repair or replace appliances, fans, disposals, water heaters, and fixtures. Respond to routine and emergency maintenance requests in occupied apartments. Maintain work orders and communicate job status with property management. Qualifications Experience in apartment or building maintenance . Strong skills in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry . Ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems in the field. Comfortable using work order or maintenance tracking systems. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred with strong resident communication skills. Reliable, hands-on, and takes pride in quality work.
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per weekBenefits:
