We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well with residents and coworkers, and is comfortable tackling projects independently. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their work, values customer service, and wants to be part of a professional property management team. This position requires participation in an on-call rotation and the ability to work weekends and occasional holidays as needed. Responsibilities Perform general maintenance and repair work, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, appliance repair, and basic HVAC troubleshooting. Complete apartment turns efficiently and to a high standard. Respond promptly and professionally to resident maintenance requests. Perform preventative maintenance and routine property inspections. Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of common areas, grounds, and building systems. Identify maintenance issues before they become larger problems and recommend practical solutions. Keep accurate records of completed work and materials used. Work safely while following company policies and applicable building codes. Assist with snow removal, landscaping, and other seasonal property needs as required. Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of building maintenance or related experience . Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general building maintenance. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Friendly, professional, and respectful when interacting with residents, vendors, and coworkers. Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize work and complete projects with minimal supervision. Willingness to take ownership of projects and see them through to completion. Reliable, dependable, and punctual. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical work, including climbing ladders, kneeling, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Availability to work weekends, participate in an on-call rotation, and work occasional holidays as needed. Benefits Competitive pay based on experience.
