Position Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining manufacturing equipment in a safe, reliable, and productive operating condition. This position troubleshoots, monitors, adjusts, repairs, installs, and services equipment and machinery throughout the facility. Essentials Duties and Responsibilities Work with electrical motors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and single-phase and three-phase electrical systems. Repair, install, adjust, modify, and service all equipment. Evaluate equipment reliability and take actions to improve performance. Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and all other company safety requirements. Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects. Perform additional maintenance-related duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum of two years of experience in industrial maintenance. Skilled and experienced in the areas of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, basic welding, and Rigging. Ability to use a programmable logic controller (PLC) for troubleshooting purposes. Complete work orders in a safe manner. Perform preventative maintenance. Willingness and ability to learn AAE's manufacturing processes.
Working Environment:
Comfortable in a manufacturing environment. Ability to lift and move equipment or parts that weigh up to 50 pounds.
