Position Summary:
As a CNC Operator, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our Machine Shop team by overseeing machine operations on the floor and providing essential hands-on support to operators.
Job Responsibilities:
Operate CNC Mills, lathes, and other machines. Use measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and tape measure, to inspect finished profiles. Install and align tools, fixtures, and materials on machines. Adjust feeds, speeds, and offsets to ensure optimal performance. Additional tasks assigned.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of machining processes, tools, and equipment (e.g., CNC, lathes, milling machines) Proficient in using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong leadership and communication abilities to guide team members effectively.
Experience Required:
Previous CNC Machine Operation experience. Ability to read basic blueprints, work orders, and measuring instruments.
Work Environment:
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment. Ability to lift and move material or parts that weigh up to 50 pounds.
