Packaging Solutions / Manufacturing - Multi-craft Technician 1st Shift Position Summary This position is responsible for performing a broad range of maintenance and repair activities to support safe, efficient, and reliable facility and equipment operations. Working under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician plays a key role in ensuring operational continuity, equipment reliability, and overall facility performance while supporting additional operational needs as required. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Conduct scheduled inspections of fluid systems, water flow, quench systems, filters, and related process equipment to verify operational effectiveness and identify potential issues. Maintain clean and organized work areas while ensuring tools, equipment, and materials are properly handled and stored. Support troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components in accordance with established procedures and safety requirements. Perform vehicle and mobile equipment maintenance and repair activities as needed. Assist with facility and building maintenance projects to support overall operational efficiency and workplace safety. Accurately document maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, modifications, and equipment history using appropriate maintenance records and systems. Receive, organize, and manage maintenance-related materials, tools, and supplies while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting operational readiness. Safely operate company vehicles and equipment in support of maintenance and operational activities. Collaborate with supervisors and team members to identify equipment improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives. Demonstrate flexibility in supporting operational priorities and responding to evolving maintenance and facility needs. Consistently follow all safety procedures, company policies, and established work practices while maintaining a strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork. Protect company property and assets through responsible equipment use and sound maintenance practices. Maintain a professional and cooperative working relationship with colleagues and supervisors while contributing to a positive and productive work environment. Qualifications & Requirements Successful candidates will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on maintenance experience, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence. High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school training preferred. Prior industrial, manufacturing, or maintenance experience preferred. Working knowledge of mechanical systems, maintenance procedures, and equipment troubleshooting. Ability to read and interpret technical information, maintenance procedures, and equipment documentation. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Pay:

Up to $42.00 per hour
