Full-Time About the Role TIGER Drylac USA, Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing facility in St. Charles, IL. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facility systems to help ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. The ideal candidate has hands-on industrial maintenance experience and is comfortable troubleshooting a combination of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and HVAC systems in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment during equipment breakdowns and production interruptions. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment. Troubleshoot 3-phase electrical systems, including 480V equipment . Diagnose issues involving motors, motor controls, sensors, switches, relays, and other electrical components. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, manuals, and equipment documentation. Perform minor electrical and electronic repairs as needed. Monitor equipment performance and identify potential problems before failures occur. Perform basic welding and fabrication repairs as required. Assist with maintenance and troubleshooting of commercial/industrial HVAC and building systems. Perform general building and facility maintenance. Maintain accurate maintenance records, work logs, and equipment documentation. Maintain appropriate inventory of maintenance parts, tools, and supplies. Order maintenance supplies and obtain quotes for equipment, parts, and outside services when needed. Coordinate with contractors and outside service providers when specialized repairs are required. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety procedures, including proper lockout/tagout practices. Support continuous improvement efforts related to equipment reliability, safety, and manufacturing operations. Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned. Qualifications 3+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred. Hands-on experience troubleshooting 3-phase/480V electrical systems . Experience troubleshooting motors, controls, sensors, switches, and related industrial electrical components. Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills. Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems . Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics. Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Commercial or industrial HVAC experience is preferred . Welding and fabrication experience is a plus. PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus. Ability to use common electrical and mechanical diagnostic tools. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a maintenance and production team. Work Environment This position works in an active manufacturing environment. Employees should be comfortable working around production machinery and in areas that may include powder, dust, noise, stairs, and extended periods of standing or walking . The position may require bending, reaching, climbing, lifting, and working in or around manufacturing equipment while following established safety procedures.
