Job Summary:
As a Maintenance Mechanic 3 at Behr, you will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing complex equipment and systems across our manufacturing or distribution operations. With advanced troubleshooting skills, you will diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues . Your daily responsibilities will include performing both reactive repairs and proactive preventative maintenance, fabricating and modifying components, and supporting our team members. You will also maintain accurate records, promote safety, and contribute to a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and process issues related to automation, conveyor systems, material handling, and motor repairs. Use shop equipment (shears, brakes, and cutting tools) to fabricate and repair components. Perform routine maintenance and develop solutions to improve efficiency and prevent recurring issues. Maintain accurate records, promote safety, and contribute to a clean, organized work environment. Requirements of the
Role:
Strong background in industrial maintenance, including plumbing, mechanical, and electrical repairs. Proficient in electrical systems, mechanical repairs, welding, and fabrication. Skilled in automated and material handling systems, and general PC operations.
