Cat-i Glass participates in E-Verify to confirm employment eligibility after hire. Core Responsibilities Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment failures Repair and replace motors, contactors, and machine components Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings Fabricate parts and perform welding repairs Identify root causes of equipment failures Coordinate repairs to minimize equipment downtime Required Skills Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings Ability to perform welding or fabrication tasks Preferred Skills Experience with predictive maintenance programs Experience leading small repair projects Work Order System Ability to read, update, and close work orders using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) Accurately document maintenance activities, parts used, and downtime causes Follow digital preventive maintenance schedules and ensure work orders are completed properly Safety Expectations Follow all company safety policies and procedures at all times Comply with OSHA safety standards applicable to maintenance work Use required PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and other equipment as needed Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures when servicing or repairing equipment Report safety hazards, near misses, or unsafe conditions immediately
