| Sycamore, IL area An established heavy-manufacturing plant is adding an entry-level maintenance technician to its 2nd-shift team.

This is a build-your-trade seat:

the tech performs preventive maintenance, basic mechanical and electrical repairs, and inspections alongside senior techs, learning the plant's equipment as they go. Mechanical aptitude and reliability matter more than a long resume - the electrical depth and CMMS can be learned on the job. For someone with hands-on ability looking to break into industrial maintenance, this offers unusually strong entry pay and a clear path up a three-tier maintenance ladder at a stable manufacturer.
