Job Description

We are currently hiring a Maintenance Mechanic in Vernon Hills. What Will You Do as a Maintenance Mechanic? Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the distribution center, including facility equipment and material handling systems. Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues on material handling equipment, including conveyor systems, forklifts, and battery chargers . Maintain and repair facility equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, cafeteria equipment, and other building systems . Identify equipment issues, diagnose problems, and complete repairs efficiently to minimize downtime. Follow all safety procedures and maintenance standards while ensuring equipment and facility systems remain operational. Who qualifies for the Maintenance Mechanic position? HS Diploma or Equivalent Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Must have 1 year of previous maintenance experience. What hours will the Maintenance Mechanic work? Monday-Friday 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM Full-time hours How much will you earn while working as a Maintenance Mechanic? Starting pay is $32.00-$35.00. Get paid weekly!
