This role is a great opportunity to join a skilled, supportive team dedicated to high-quality work and the larger mission of the forest preserve. This position focuses on maintenance and repair of District roadways including sealcoat, pave, patch, repair gravel and asphalt, driveways, trails, and parking lots. Compensation $26.65 to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience. Experience planting trees and shrubs, repairing signage and fences, and trail maintenance. Current IL Dept. of Agriculture Pesticide Operator's License preferred. This position works in a variety of different settings and will require travel throughout the district. Schedule Schedule is Monday - Friday 6:45 am to 2:45 pm. Key Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of hire. 1-3 years of related experience in maintenance duties and operation of machinery and equipment. Valid Driver's License in good standing; Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required within (6) months in good standing.
