  • Carlex is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our day shift team. The shift is 12 hours on the 3-2-2 schedule.

REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent required Associate's Degree in a maintenance or technical field preferred 2 Years in Industrial Maintenance Work a 12-hour shift on rotating schedule (3-2-2)
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE
Carry out repairs to all types of equipment and facilities in a safe, timely and professional manner Troubleshoot defective equipment in order to isolate causes and make repairs Follow instructions given by Maintenance supervisor on shift Complete daily walk through inspections on equipment in assigned area Complete run time and down time PM's on equipment in assigned areas Track time through work order completion Assist with troubleshooting production process issues as needed Keep all work areas clean and tidy - including tools & tool box Update supervision, staff and operators, both verbally and via written reports, on the status of equipment maintenance issues Promote a team environment Work in a safety-first manner while adhering to all LOTO, Arc Flash, Confined Space and Environmental policies Respond to internal & external customers in a timely manner
