Machine Maintenance Technician Job Description Machine Maintenance Technicians are responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting breakdowns as they occur on the manufacturing floor. The goal is to prioritize safety while minimizing downtime and optimizing production efficiency. Technicians perform scheduled maintenance tasks on a variety of machines and equipment according to schedule, replace or repair defective parts such as belts, bearings, motors, and sensors, and identify and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems on machines. Pay Up to $40/hr Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot breakdowns on the manufacturing floor. Perform scheduled maintenance tasks on various machines and equipment. Replace or repair defective parts including belts, bearings, motors, and sensors. Identify and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems on machines. Collaborate with team members and leads to analyze and solve complex technical repairs. Calibrate and align machinery to ensure optimal performance. Document all maintenance and repairs performed on the floor. Essential Skills Industrial maintenance experience. Electrical troubleshooting, specifically with 480-volt 3-phase motors. Mechanical troubleshooting in hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLCs. Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Beech Grove, IN.
