Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for ensuring that the facilities are available for use and consistently maintained in a safe and clean condition. Assembles repairs, maintains, and moves furniture, such as desks, cabinets, tables, chairs, shelves, and related fittings and fixtures. Basic custodial services. Routine exterior painting of buildings and interior painting of public and common areas. General building repairs. Maintenance of building life-safety, and systems such as heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, electrical and lighting
Responsibilities:
A working knowledge of requirements for the maintenance of all utilities including well systems, septic systems , plumbing, HVAC systems, electrical service and hardware, air compressors, dryers, chiller cooling towers, backup generators and fuel supplies. Coordinating preventative facilities maintenance appointments for the maintenance work that cannot be done in house. Periodic Fire sprinkler system pressure/water level recordings. Periodic water temperature checks and recordings. Assist in general facility maintenance and repairs, set up / movement of items, carpentry plumbing, painting all performed whenever necessary. Ensure all work is completed in a timely manner to NTN Driveshaft standards. Schedule work effectively , limiting disturbance to programming and staff. Maintaining professional working relationships with contractors. The HVAC technician will be skilled in cleaning , adjusting and repairing systems.
Education and Abilities:
Ability to work in a mechanical environment and using various hand tools (i.e. wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, etc) HVAC certification or license required. Must have a strong work ethic and be willing to work with limited oversight. Must have strong computer skills ( including MS Excel, Word , PowerPoint , etc.) Excellent written and verbal communications skills. High School Diploma.
