Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and safety of our facilities and manufacturing equipment. Your expertise will help maintain a seamless environment, supporting both production efficiency and facility integrity. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced, growth-oriented setting where your contributions truly make a difference. Duties Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical (up to 480v), control systems, and pneumatic issues Conduct welding repairs and mechanical adjustments to machinery or structural components as needed. Assist with residential painting projects around the facility to uphold safety standards and aesthetic quality. Monitor spare parts inventory, ensuring critical spare parts are on hand and organized effectively

• Execute the Beacon Preventive Maintenance Plan Complete reported corrective maintenance outside the scope of preventive maintenance Assist in building custom tooling and racking used to load product onto line Monitor spare parts inventory and report any shortages/surplus Seek out ongoing opportunities for and participate in training and education to enhance skills and methods in performing equipment maintenance Maintain safe, clean, organized work areas throughout the Company Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance within manufacturing or industrial environments. Strong electrical knowledge including 480v and electrical controls Experience with diaphragm and centrifugal pumps Strong plumbing knowledge of PVC, CPVC and steel Knowledge of natural gas burners and convection burners Ability to read technical schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings accurately. Skilled in welding techniques for repairing or fabricating metal components. Excellent communication skills in English to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors. This position could potentially travel between our Edinburgh and New Castle, Indiana plants. Preferred Qualifications and Education Minimum 3 years' experience in maintenance and/or manufacturing environment Must be able to sit, stand, walk and lift during a shift Experience in Lean Manufacturing is a plus Beacon Industries, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
