Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on generators and power systems to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using schematics, diagnostic tools, and technical manuals. Conduct engine repairs, including diesel engine servicing, small engine maintenance, and component replacements. Use hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and other specialized equipment to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults. Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions. Assist with heavy lifting tasks and manual handling of large or heavy equipment components safely and efficiently. Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inspection reports to document all maintenance activities performed. Experience Proven dealership experience or service technician background in automotive or heavy equipment repair is highly preferred. Extensive experience working with diesel engines, electrical diagnostics, and mechanical systems repair. Strong knowledge of power generation systems, generator repair techniques, and electrical work standards. Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting electrical circuits in complex machinery. Hands-on experience with Caterpillar or similar heavy machinery brands is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to use hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and other maintenance tools effectively. Excellent customer service skills combined with a proactive attitude toward safety protocols and quality standards. Pay:
