Job Description

In this role you'll be face-to-face ambassador of the company dealing directly with our commercial real estate clients. You'll assist the property supervisor in maintaining the physical aspects of the Indiana buildings by performing light repair and maintenance duties for both common areas of buildings and within tenant spaces; inspecting, investigating, or assessing conditions to be performed by third party vendors; inspecting, investing or assessing conditions after all work has been completed by such vendors. This role requires a hands-on, highly skilled technician who can independently diagnose, repair, and maintain building systems while serving as the Owner Representative holding vendors accountable to our standards. The ideal candidate has deep experience in commercial or industrial facilities, strong troubleshooting skills across multiple trades, and the professionalism to interact with tenants, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities :
Support basic requests by tenants for repair, maintenance and projects, utilize vendors Perform maintenance tasks as directed by supervisor. Maintain good tenant relations - complete or escalate support for repairs as needed Partner with vendors and contractors to check in to see if projects are on track. Regularly inspect HVAC, fire/life safety equipment, document results and notify supervisor and vendor of any issues. Keep supervisor informed as to status of work orders and work assignments. Ensure all properties are free of trash and debris. Replace lights and ceiling tiles and paint when needed. Communicate all building and tenant issues to supervisor. Be knowledgeable and continuously promote safe work practices. Complete all required training including OSHA trainings. Other duties as assigned
Education/Skills/Experience/Qualities :
5+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in an industrial commercial setting Knowledge of fire systems, managing vendors, bidding projects, HVAC Mechanical aptitude, ability to read schematics/engineering High school diploma or equivalent (requires some technical college or applicable certifications). Dependability and a valid Indiana driver's license, good driving record, ability to travel to multiple properties and comply with company policies with vehicle usage are required. Ability to multitask, remain flexible and professional. Maintain a positive team attitude and provide excellent customer service. Requires walking and driving to properties, bending, twisting, lifting up to 20 lbs., and climbing fixed ladders to access roofs and extension ladders
Pay:
$27.44 - $33.04 per hour
