SUMMARY Performs routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on apartment buildings. This is a Part Time Position great for someone who is retired or has other employment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Performs minor repairs of all buildings and in apartments. Replaces broken windows; repairs doors, door locks and closets; installs window blinds. Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required. Assists with the renovation/remodeling of apartments; repairs plaster and drywall; painting units along with removing old flooring and possibly laying ceramic tile flooring. Performs outside custodial duties such as snow removal on sidewalks as required. May obtain estimates for supplies, repair parts; orders parts as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily . Must live within a 30 minute drive time from the property.
