Job Description

GENERAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - JOB DESCRIPTION
General Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
The General Maintenance Technician conducts repairs and maintenance of company assets including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building and mechanical systems. The General Maintenance Technician supports the retail sites by providing routine troubleshooting and repairs of coffee machines, frozen beverage machines, fountain beverage machines, roller grills, pizza ovens, and other food and beverage equipment. The General Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Regional Manager of Facilities and Maintenance. General Maintenance Technician duties will include, but are not limited to: Conduct regular inspections and ensure the upkeep and maintenance of all company facilities Synchronize work processes with retail sites Perform other warehouse/service station operation and maintenance, including electrical work, plumbing, and painting Keep a record of day-to-day maintenance and service activities undertaken Comply with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules while carrying out maintenance functions Transport and transfer equipment to and from the corporate office to retail sites Respond to emergencies in a timely manner, which includes calls outside of normal working hours Maintain company-owned truck, including keeping supplies and proper tools on hand at all times
Experience/Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of three (3) years of Facilities Maintenance is required Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance Ability to safely and effectively operate hand power tools including circular saw, reciprocating saw, and power drill
Valid Driver's License Preferred Skills:
Experience operating power auger Ability to perform light welding tasks
Hours:
The General Maintenance Technician is a full time position and works a minimum of 40 hours per week
Salary/Income:
The General Maintenance Technician is an exempt, salaried position
