POSITION SUMMARY
The Maintenance Technician will provide assistance in all aspects of maintenance such as welding, electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics.
REPORTS TO
Maintenance Supervisor
SUPERVISES
N/A Essential Responsibilities:
Maintenance/Repair tasks at the plant. Preventative maintenance/repair tasks on mobile equipment. Preventive maintenance/repair tasks on furnaces, power supplies and plant operational equipment and processes. Repairs of unscheduled equipment issues causing downtime Completing work orders & PM paperwork Regular and timely attendance are an expectation of the position Follow the 5S foundations for deploying lean production tools and processes
Requirements:
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Forklift experience is preferred but not required. Industrial maintenance or millwright or welding experience within other manufacturing facilities
COMPETENCIES
Follow all safety rules, regulations and policies of the company. Self-starter, dependable and work well with other team members.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Physical Activity:
Talking, hearing, repetitive motion, stooping, crouching, standing, walking, lifting, and climbing stairs.
Physical Requirements:
Exerting up to fifty (50) pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to twenty-five (25) pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Visual Acuity:
ability to operate machinery and determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned including to make general observations of facilities.
