Full Time/Hourly PositionPOSITION SUMMARY
The Maintenance Technician will provide assistance in all aspects of maintenance such as welding, electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics.REPORTS TO
Maintenance SupervisorSUPERVISES
N/A Essential Responsibilities:
Maintenance/Repair tasks at the plant. Preventative maintenance/repair tasks on mobile equipment. Preventive maintenance/repair tasks on furnaces, power supplies and plant operational equipment and processes. Repairs of unscheduled equipment issues causing downtime Completing work orders & PM paperwork Regular and timely attendance are an expectation of the position Follow the 5S foundations for deploying lean production tools and processesRequirements:
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Forklift experience is preferred but not required. Industrial maintenance or millwright or welding experience within other manufacturing facilitiesCOMPETENCIES
Follow all safety rules, regulations and policies of the company. Self-starter, dependable and work well with other team members.PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Physical Activity:
Talking, hearing, repetitive motion, stooping, crouching, standing, walking, lifting, and climbing stairs.Physical Requirements:
Exerting up to fifty (50) pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to twenty-five (25) pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.Visual Acuity:
