Ability to differentiate colors Ability to read Blueprints Knowledge of motors, exhaust, electricity, high and low voltage Mechanical Skills Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions Ability to speak, read & write in English Ability to follow work rules Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude High school diploma or GED, Some Technical training in Maintenance preferred

Job Duties:

Performs typical maintenance tasks to support the production floor and the entire facility to minimize downtime. Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor and designs plans to prioritize tasks. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations. Performs preventative maintenance on machinery building or grounds as required and prioritizes tasks and is held accountable for completion. Can delegate and communicate effectively all of the above tasks to the maintenance team. Performs a daily walk thru to keep up with facility needs.
