Job Description

As a Multi-Skilled Technician at Walmart, you'll support store operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility systems and equipment. You will perform basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical tasks, complete preventive maintenance, respond to work orders, and ensure a safe, clean, and efficient environment for customers and associates. Working closely with store leadership and external vendors, you'll diagnose issues, document repairs, prioritize tasks, and follow safety and compliance standards while contributing to Walmart's culture of respect, service, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Maintain and repair store facility systems and equipment Perform basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical tasks Complete preventive maintenance on building and equipment Respond to and prioritize maintenance work orders Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment and facility issues Coordinate with store leadership and external vendors Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance Support a clean, safe environment for customers and associates Assist with emergency repairs and after-hours issues as needed Required Skills Facility maintenance Basic electrical repair Plumbing repair HVAC maintenance Mechanical troubleshooting Preventive maintenance Reading technical manuals and schematics Work order management systems Safety and OSHA compliance Vendor coordination
