Conduct welding, carpentry, painting, and other facilities maintenance tasks to uphold the hotel's aesthetic and safety standards. Maintain facilities equipment including hand tools, electrical equipment repair, and plumbing system maintenance using appropriate safety procedures. Supervise or assist with maintenance painting projects and interior building repairs to enhance guest experience. Troubleshoot electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters and programmable logic controllers (PLCs), ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to coordinate maintenance schedules, respond promptly to service requests, and ensure high-quality customer service for guests and staff alike. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC system repair, electrical work, plumbing, and building interior maintenance. Proficiency with schematics, electrical equipment repair, CMMS software, and troubleshooting tools like ohmmeters. Skilled in welding, carpentry, painting (including residential painting), and facilities equipment maintenance. Knowledge of maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) practices within a hospitality or manufacturing environment. Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams; familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus. Excellent communication skills in English; capable of supervising or assisting team members effectively. Demonstrated experience with plumbing system maintenance & repair; experience with HVAC systems is highly desirable. Hands-on experience with hand tools, electrical equipment repair, and building interior upkeep. Leadership qualities with previous supervising experience preferred; ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy setting.
