Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Preventive Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and completing repairs that keep our production equipment operating safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and enjoys solving equipment problems before they lead to downtime. You will inspect, maintain, and repair hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems while following all company safety procedures and preventive maintenance schedules. Responsibilities Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment. Inspect machinery to identify wear, damage, or potential failures. Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems. Replace worn or damaged components such as bearings, chains, sprockets, belts, seals, pumps, valves, and hoses. Lubricate equipment and perform routine maintenance to maximize equipment life. Complete maintenance work orders and accurately document repairs. Assist with equipment installations, plant improvement projects, and emergency repairs as needed. Work closely with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability. Follow all safety regulations, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. What We're Looking For Experience performing preventive maintenance in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Basic electrical troubleshooting experience. Ability to read and use maintenance manuals, diagrams, and work orders. Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
