In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of equipment and systems within a pharmaceutical production facility. Your expertise will ensure that our operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently, supporting the production of high-quality medicines. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, HVAC systems, electrical systems, and pneumatic/hydraulic machinery to ensure optimal operation. Troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, and control system issues using schematics, blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting techniques. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks. Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and low-voltage testers to identify faults accurately. Repair or replace defective components including motors, sensors, valves, switches, and wiring assemblies; perform stick welding and welding repairs as needed. Read electrical blueprints and schematics to facilitate precise equipment repairs and upgrades. Operate industrial equipment such as scissor lifts safely for access during maintenance activities. Collaborate with engineering teams on troubleshooting complex issues involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), automation systems, HVAC/R units, and other industrial controls. Maintain compliance with safety regulations by adhering to proper lockout/tagout procedures during maintenance activities. Assist in commissioning new equipment or upgrades by performing calibration and validation tasks with precision measuring instruments. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with production teams regarding maintenance schedules or urgent repairs. Qualifications Proven experience working in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical facility environment with a strong understanding of industrial maintenance practices. Demonstrated proficiency in electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and reading schematics/blueprints. Hands-on experience with CMMS software for work order management and maintenance tracking. Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, calipers, and other diagnostic tools. Ability to perform stick welding and welding repairs safely and effectively. Knowledge of HVAC/R systems along with the ability to troubleshoot related issues using relevant technical skills. Experience operating scissor lifts or similar elevated work platforms safely within industrial settings. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial electrician practices, electrical blueprint reading, and engineering troubleshooting techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with industrial mechanic experience for effective equipment repair. Excellent analysis skills to identify root causes of equipment failures quickly. Effective communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork collaboration. Relevant certifications such as electrical license or HVAC certification are preferred but not mandatory.
