Job Description

One of our manufacturing clients is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support their maintenance and reliability of production equipment at its North Vernon, IN facility.
  • Pay Rate:
  • $35/hr - $38/hr
  • Shift:
  • 2nd shift
Responsibilities:
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated equipment Diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement timely repairs to minimize production downtime Perform equipment inspections and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency Install, assemble, and maintain machinery, motors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and other production equipment Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Experience troubleshooting industrial machinery, conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, and automated equipment Experience with PLC troubleshooting and industrial automation systems Familiarity with CMMS software and preventive maintenance programs Welding, fabrication, or machining experience is a plus
