Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team and help keep our property running smoothly, safely, and efficiently. This role requires a proactive individual to perform routine and emergency maintenance, repairs and improvements for apartment units, common areas, and building systems. This role is essential in ensuring resident satisfaction and maintaining the property's operational standards. The maintenance technician should have experience in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and capable of troubleshooting and repairing . Candidates should possess excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. Responsibilities Assist and perform basic routine and preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Troubleshoot electrical issues using multimeter. Conduct soldering and braising repairs. Provide excellent customer service to internal clients by promptly addressing work orders and service requests in a timely and professional manner. Prepare units for new residents, including repairs and general turnover tasks. Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders within AppFolio. Troubleshoot and repair appliances, fixtures, and building components. Assist with groundskeeping tasks such as trash removal, pressure washing and basic upkeep. Assist with seasonal daily pool operations. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations during all maintenance activities. Respond to emergency maintenance calls on a rotating on-call schedule. Provide excellent customer service to internal clients by promptly addressing maintenance requests. Qualifications Previous maintenance experience, preferably in multifamily housing or a similar environment. Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems. Mechanical knowledge with skills in soldering and braising, and general repair work. Ability to use hand and power tools safely and provide your general daily hand tools. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.. Excellent customer service and communication skills in English for clear documentation and collaboration. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Valid driver's license required. HVAC certification a plus.
