Education Requirements Associate degree in Industrial Electronics/Electrical Engineering Technology preferred Completion of an approved industrial electrical maintenance apprenticeship preferred Experience Requirements 3-5 years of plant maintenance experience required Industrial control wiring experience required Experience troubleshooting PLC and solid-state control systems Experience working with AC/DC drives and process controllers Knowledge of SAP or similar CMMS preferred Job Duties Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and utility systems Diagnose electrical, mechanical, PLC, HMI, and network-related issues Perform preventive maintenance and complete work orders in the CMMS system Read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents to diagnose equipment failures Repair motors, drives, sprockets, chains, belts, pulleys, bearings, and related components Troubleshoot and maintain wastewater, hydraulic, pneumatic, and boiler systems Perform root cause failure analysis on equipment breakdowns Assist with equipment changeovers and production support Train employees on identifying and resolving basic mechanical issues Complete maintenance logs and maintain compliance with maintenance standards Support HVAC troubleshooting and repairs Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related technical environment is preferred. Experience performing preventative maintenance programs and responding to equipment breakdowns is beneficial. Knowledge of PLCs, electrical controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, or fabrication is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate strong troubleshooting abilities, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous improvement are well positioned for success as a Maintenance Technician. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and work in a variety of industrial environments throughout the shift. Ability to lift equipment, tools, and replacement parts weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely work around moving machinery while following established safety procedures.
