Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Person to join our team and learn how to repair and maintain the specialized machines that we use to produce our products. The ideal candidate will possess a willingness to learn from our experienced maintenance staff, a background in various maintenance tasks, ensuring that all equipment and facilities operate smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment, and facilities. Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy in repairs and installations. Fabricate parts as needed to support maintenance operations. Conduct inspections and troubleshoot issues related to HVAC/R systems. Read and interpret schematics to analyze mechanical systems for faults. Execute welding tasks for repairs or fabrication of components. Collaborate with industrial electricians for electrical system maintenance. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols. Skills Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments. Experience as an industrial electrician is preferred but not required. Strong command of the English language for effective communication. Ability to fabricate parts and components as required. Welding skills for metalwork and repairs. Background as an industrial mechanic is a plus but not required.
