A+ Enterprises is looking for a dependable, hardworking General Maintenance Technician to join our team. We manage a growing portfolio of residential properties throughout Northwest Indiana and need someone who can handle day-to-day maintenance, respond promptly to issues, and take pride in keeping our properties in excellent condition.

Responsibilities:

Complete routine maintenance and general repairs Respond to and complete work orders in a timely, professional manner Diagnose and repair maintenance issues across multiple properties Prepare units for new tenants, including turnovers, cleaning, repairs, and minor renovations Perform property inspections and identify needed maintenance or repairs Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors when necessary Properly maintain tools and equipment Ensure work is completed safely, correctly, and in accordance with applicable codes

Requirements:

Previous maintenance, construction, or handyman experience preferred Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general property repairs Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Professional communication with tenants, vendors, and team members Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a variety of indoor and outdoor conditions

Preferred, But Not Required:

HVAC experience or certification Previous property management or apartment maintenance experience Basic appliance repair experience
