Job Summary The Yard Maintenance & Facility Support Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment throughout the facility and surrounding property. This position performs routine janitorial services, grounds maintenance, and provides general labor support to operations, maintenance, and equipment personnel as needed. The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, and willing to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Janitorial Responsibilities Clean and sanitize restrooms. Clean and maintain the driver break room and office areas. Clean and organize the maintenance shop. Clean the scale house, scale room, and office spaces. Empty trash receptacles and replace liners. Maintain cleanliness of common areas to ensure a safe and professional work environment. Yard & Transfer Station Responsibilities Pick up litter and debris throughout the property. Remove debris that has blown from company property onto adjacent roadways and parking areas. Fill potholes and maintain gravel lots to promote safe vehicle and pedestrian traffic. Keep the yard clean, organized, and presentable. Perform general grounds maintenance as assigned. Seasonal Responsibilities Shovel snow from walkways, entrances, and work areas. Apply salt or ice melt to maintain safe walking and driving surfaces. Assist with other winter-related maintenance and cleanup activities. Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Above Previous janitorial, grounds maintenance, or general labor experience is preferred but not required. Skills and Qualifications Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, walking, and working outdoors. Ability to safely lift and carry heavy materials with assistance when required. Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to follow safety procedures and company policies. Work Environment and Conditions Work is performed both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and manual labor. Exposure to dust, dirt, noise, and moving equipment in an industrial environment. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as required.
