Job Description

Group Leader, Facilities Maintenance - Crew G Position SummaryWe are seeking a proactive and experienced Group Leader, Facilities Maintenance to oversee the daily operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of a manufacturing facility during the Crew G shift. This leader will be responsible for supervising maintenance personnel, ensuring equipment and facility reliability, supporting production objectives, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. Key ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise a team of maintenance and facilities technicians to ensure timely, safe, and effective completion of maintenance activities.

Develop, implement, and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.

Partner with production, engineering, and operations teams to minimize downtime and support manufacturing goals.

Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

Manage maintenance-related budgets, inventory, and procurement of tools, equipment, and spare parts.

Oversee facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, and other building infrastructure systems.

Respond to emergency maintenance situations and coordinate corrective actions to restore operations.

Train, coach, and mentor maintenance team members while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development.

Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment histories, inspection reports, and work order documentation within the maintenance management system.

Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reduction, and increased operational efficiency.

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Industrial Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum of 5 years of facilities and/or maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.

Previous leadership or supervisory experience with a demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop teams.

Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and facility building systems.

Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.

Knowledge of OSHA regulations and other applicable safety standards.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and maintenance reporting tools.

Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting high-volume manufacturing operations.

Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Experience managing contractor relationships and facility improvement projects.

Certification in a maintenance, facilities, or safety-related discipline is a plus.

CompensationThe expected annual base salary range for this position is $108,877 - $163,316. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, education, certifications, location, and overall business needs. Why Join Us?
